What is a Waqf
A Waqf is an Islamic endowment where the principal asset remains intact, and only the income is used for charitable purposes. It cannot be sold or transferred, ensuring its benefits continue indefinitely.
What assets does Waqforever buy?
Waqforever invests in assets like property or shares that generate income for charity, following Shariah-compliant principles. The asset remains intact, is owned solely by the charity entity, Waqforever, and income is used for charitable work.
Does the money only go to the people of Palestine?
Yes, currently, Waqforever only directs its funds to the Waqf for Palestine, as it is our first active project. In the future, we may expand to other projects, at which point you will be able to donate to the project(s) of your choice. This option is not available at the moment but you will be made aware via email once a new project is available.
Donations & Contributions
Is Waqforever Zakat eligible?
No, Waqforever is not eligible for Zakat. Zakat is an obligatory charity that must be given to specific categories of people in need, such as the poor, orphans, and the needy. Since Waqforever operates as a perpetual endowment (Waqf), where the principal asset remains intact and only the income is used for charity, it does not fall within the categories that are eligible to receive Zakat.
How can I edit/cancel my donation?

Does Waqforever accept Lillah (voluntary charity)?
Yes, Waqforever accepts Lillah donations, which are voluntary and can be used for any charitable purpose, in accordance with Islamic principles.

Can I volunteer or get involved with Waqforever?
Currently, we don’t have volunteering opportunities, but you can share your details and skills background via our contact form. If assistance is needed, the Waqforever team will reach out.
Can I fundraise for Waqforever?

We provide regular updates and reports about how funds are spent. All donations are managed in line with Islamic financial principles, and financial statements are available upon request.
What is the minimum donation I can make?
There is no minimum donation. All contributions, no matter how small, are greatly appreciated, Jazakum’Allahu Khairun.
Can I donate anonymously?
Yes, donations can be made anonymously. However, we encourage sharing your details for updates on the impact of your contributions.
